One of the most iconic cameras ever produced, loved by many, this is the ultimate cure for GAS(Gear Acquisition Syndrome) in my opinion.

I got this Leica M3 off from the eBay at reasonable price, but the lens(collapsible Summicron 5.0cm F2)had some issues and the camera could use a good CLA(Clean, Lubricate, and Adjust), and the MC Leicameter was dead. Nevertheless, I started shooting.

I started with Ilford HP5 B/W film and Kodak Portra 400. I really like the feel of the Ilford HP5 as well as the Portra’s color. But the shutter needed some adjustment.

Leica M3 with Summicron 50mm DR and Summicron 50mm collasible

Seeing some issue with the lens(mold spots with coating damage), I got another lens off from eBay. Summicron 50mm Dual Range. Yes, I love 50mm lens for it is in my humble opinion that the M3’s view finder is perfect for 50mm.

All that good things that people rave about M3 is true. If you can get it at good price, I’d say… get it.
